1.雙色塑機由兩套結構、規格完全相同塑化注射裝置組成。噴嘴按生產方式需要應其有特殊結構，或配有能旋轉換位的結構完全相同的兩組成型模具。

雙色塑膠異型材制品注射時，要求兩套塑化注射裝置中的熔料溫度、注射壓力、注射熔料量等工藝參數相同，要盡量縮小兩套裝置中的工藝參數波動差。

2.雙色制品與普通注射成型塑料制品比較，其注射時的熔料溫度和注射壓力都要采用較高的參數值。主要原因是雙色注射成型中的模具流道比較長，結構比較復雜，注射熔料流動阻力較大。

3.雙色塑膠異型材制品要選用熱穩定性好、熔體黏度低的原料，以避免因熔料溫度高，在流道內停留時間較長而分解。應用較多的塑料是聚烯烴類樹脂、聚苯乙烯和ABS料等。

4.雙色塑料型材制品在注射成型時，為了使兩種不同顏色的熔料在成型時能很好地在模具中熔接、保證注塑制品的成型質量，應采用較高的熔料溫度、較高的模具溫度、較高的注射壓力和注射速率。
