塑料型材制品能不能夠取代金屬材料，但塑料制品的許多性能已經超過鋁合金。并且塑料的應用已經超過了鋼鐵的用量，塑料所生產出來的制品可以說與我們生活密切相關，塑料制品有的材質性能絕不亞于鋼筋混凝土。塑料家族可為豐富，哪么先說說PC塑料型材這種材質可以用在哪些行業呢？

PC也稱為：聚碳酸酯，透明性較好，熱穩定性一般，缺點是手感不好，特別是使用一段時間后，則外觀顏色有些許變化，也是屬于工程塑料一種，即有機玻璃，例如聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚碳酸酯等。

PC塑料型材制品在哪些行業中使用比較廣泛呢？

1、電子電器：聚碳酸酯是優良的絕緣材料，用于制造絕緣接插件、線圈框架、管座、絕緣套管、電話機殼體及零件、礦燈的電池殼等。

2、機械設備：用于制造各種齒輪、齒條、蝸輪、蝸桿、軸承、凸輪、螺栓、杠桿、曲軸、棘輪，也可作一些機械設備殼體、罩蓋和框架等零件。

3、醫療器材：可作醫療用途的杯、筒、瓶以及牙科器械、藥品容器和手術器械，

4、其它方面：建筑上用作中空筋雙壁板、暖房玻璃等；在紡織行業用作紡織紗管、紡織機軸瓦等；

5、日用方面作奶瓶、餐具、玩具、模型、LED燈外殼和手機外殼等生產制造出的塑料型材制品，但是近年來，奶瓶因為含有雙酚A而備受爭議。PC中殘留的雙酚A，溫度愈高，釋放愈多，速度也愈快。因此，保險起見少用PC材質的制品適合用于存放高溫的水或者食物。
