塑膠異型材不過在日常生活中還是工業上的使用都是非常廣泛的，有些塑料制品在生產的時候表面會出現有小暗紋銀絲，導致有瑕疵。不同情況出現的銀絲及對應的解決方法?

水解銀絲是指塑料在料筒中發生水解而形成的銀絲，其產生原因是早由于料粒在塑膠異型材成型前未得到充分干燥，或已充分干燥的料粒在料斗中停留時間太長，而料斗中又無有效的保溫措施，使其重新吸濕，含水量超過了規定的要求，這種含水量超高的料粒在料筒內高溫作用下水分被汽化，導致樹脂在熔融過程中發生降解現象，產生二氧化碳氣體。

積存在熔融樹脂內部，充模時隨流料沖入模腔，形成水解急絲。致使塑件強度顯著降低，質地變脆。這類銀絲經常遇到，而且比較容易識別，它通常是沿注射流向較均勻地分布，嚴重時密布在整個塑件表面。

消除水解銀絲的根本方法就是充分干燥料粒，塑膠異型材成型時使用的料粒含水量必須控制在0.03%以下。為此，必須嚴格控制原料干燥的工藝條件，在成型前在成型前應對料粒的含水量進行測定。

生產中可采用一種簡便的檢查方法，即便用兩塊小玻璃，中間夾一粒被檢測的料粒，然后放到280~300度的加熱板上，當料粒受熱漸熔時，在玻璃上平穩加壓，將熔料壓扁，觀察料中有無氣泡，若無氣泡，則為干燥合格，可供成型加工便用，否則還需要繼續進行干燥處理。

若銀絲是由于干燥的料粒在料斗中吸濕所致，則應根據具體情況，在料斗中設置或改進加熱保溫裝置。并控制一次投料量，不致于導致干燥粒料在料斗中停留時間過長而吸濕，一般，停留時間最長不宜超過30~60分鐘。目前，料斗的加熱保溫裝置大都是在料斗上部設置紅外燈泡，其功率大小可按料斗面積而定，一般每平方米面積上需設置25~30W的加熱功率。此外，也可采用蒸汽夾套，電阻絲加熱等方法進行原料干燥處理。
