近些年來發展起來一種新興的復合材料成型技術—軟硬共擠技術，這個共擠成型技術充分發揮了不同塑料材料的特性，使得型材的特殊要求的性能提高，例如防濕能力，防氧化能力，熱成型和熱粘合能力，良好的力學性能等提高，從而提高塑料型材的品質，也降低塑料型材的成本，因此軟硬共擠型材技術越來越廣泛應用多個行業的型材配件生產。

軟硬共擠技術從材料選擇及共混改性技術、模具設計技術以及工藝參數設計都是能影響到軟硬共擠成型的關鍵技術，共擠工藝參數設計有那些要求？

工藝參數設計：軟硬共擠型材對生產線的工藝溫度要求比較苛刻，特別是擠出模具溫度。如果擠出模具溫度過低，塑化不足，硬質材料強度和表面光澤度不好，軟硬共擠部分打皺，機頭出料的持續穩定性差；如果擠出模具溫度過高，軟質材料熔體粘度低（PVC材料還會出現分解發泡現象），粘口模較嚴重，而且軟硬共擠型坯的撕裂強度明顯降低。

因此，軟硬共擠型材必須仔細研究和調整適宜的模頭工藝溫度。此外，在定型階段還需注意摸索定型模具內軟質型腔部分水簾的大小及與抽真空口的相對位置、冷卻溫度、真空度、定型長度、牽引的速度等工藝參數相互之間的影響，最終獲得適合的定型參數，確保產品成型的穩定性。
