一、塑膠異型材的工藝下的玻璃態：

在玻璃態下，塑料分子基本上不動了，只是在原地微微晃動。它們糾纏成一團或卷曲著交錯在一起，看起來很亂。但當外力作用于其上時，分子鏈段會發生微小伸縮和鍵角改變，并且整個形體具有一定的剛性和強度（比如抗張強度和抗彎強度），這樣就可以使用或進行機械加工了。

對于非結晶形塑料（例如聚苯乙烯、有機玻璃、聚碳酸酯等），它們的玻璃化溫度高于室溫。因此我們可以將原料顆?；蛞呀浂ㄐ椭萍暈樘幱诓ＡB中。而“軟”性塑料（例如聚乙烯、聚丙烯等）也存在著“硬”性的玻璃態。

二、塑膠異型材的工藝下的高彈態

在高彈態下，塑料分子動能增加并展開成網格狀態。然而分子仍然維持著小鏈段旋轉運動，并且鏈與鏈之間沒有位置移動。當受到外力作用時，它可以產生緩慢形變；當外力消失后，則會逐漸恢復原來狀態。這種狀態下，塑料表現出類似橡膠般的可拉伸特性，因此也被稱為橡膠態。

高彈態有兩個特點：
1. 在較小作用力下可產生較大變形，在外力解除后能恢復原樣。
2. 高彈形變不是立即發生的；相反，在同樣大小外力作用下需要時間才能完成，并且還可能出現松馳情況。
