1.ABS異型材的性能：ABS是由丙烯腈、丁二烯和苯乙烯三種化學單體合成。熱穩定性及化學穩定性;丁二烯具有堅韌性、抗沖擊特性;苯乙烯具有易加工、高光潔度及高強度。

從形態上看，ABS是非結晶性材料,具有較高的機械強度和良好“堅、韌、鋼”的綜合性能。它是無定型聚合物，ABS是一種通用型工程塑料，其品種多樣，用途廣泛，也稱“通用塑料”，(MBS稱為透明ABS)，ABS易吸濕，比重為1.05G/CM3(比水略重)，收縮率低(0.60%),尺寸穩定，易于成型加工。

ABS異型材的特性主要取決于三種單體的比率以及兩相中的分子結構。這就可以在產品設計上具有很大的靈活性，并且由此產生了市場上百種不同品質的ABS材料。這些不同品質的材料提供了不同的特性，例如從中等到高等的抗沖擊性，從低到高的光潔度和高溫扭曲特性等。ABS材料具有超強的易加工性，外觀特性，低蠕變性和優異的尺寸穩定性以及很高的抗沖擊強度。

ABS異型材材料為淺黃色粒狀或珠狀不透明樹脂、無味、吸水率低，具有良好的綜合物理機械性能，如優良的電性能、耐磨性，尺寸穩定性、耐化學性和表面光澤等，且易于加工成型。缺點是耐候性，耐熱性差，且易燃。

2.ABS異型材的工藝特點

1,ABS的吸濕性和濕敏性都較大，在成型加工前必須進行充分干燥和預熱(為80~90C下最少干燥2小時)，將水分含量控制在0.03%以下。

2,ABS樹脂的熔融粘度對溫度的敏感性較低(與其它無定型樹脂不同)。ABS的注射溫度雖然比PS稍高，但不能像PS那樣有寬松的升溫范圍，不能用盲目升溫的辦法來除低其粘度，可用增加螺桿轉速或注射壓力的辦法來提高其流動性。一般加工溫度在190-235℃為宜。

3,ABS的熔融粘度屬中等，比PS、HIPS、AS均較高，需采用較高的注射壓力(500~1000BAR)啤貨。

4,ABS料采用中高速度等注射速度啤貨效果較好。(除非形狀復雜、薄壁制件需用較高的注射速度)，產品水口位易產生氣紋。

5,ABS成型溫度較高，其模溫一般調節在25-70℃。生產較大產品時，定模(前模)溫度一般比動模(后模)略高5℃左右為宜。(模具溫度將影響塑件光潔度，溫度較低則導致光潔度較低)

6,ABS不宜在高溫炮筒內停留時間過長(應小于30分鐘)，否則易分解發黃。
