吹塑產品都是中空的;注塑因為有注塑口，所以塑膠型材成型后的產品會多出一小快不要的部分，會有道工序把它剪掉，不過如果仔細觀察還是可以發現的;

注射成型是使熱塑性或熱固性模塑料先在加熱料筒中均勻塑化，而后由柱塞或移動螺桿推擠到閉合模具的模腔中成型的一種方法。

注射成型幾乎適用于所有的熱塑性塑料。近年來，注射成型也成功地用于成型某些熱固性塑料。注射成型的成型周期短(幾秒到幾分鐘)，成型制品質量可由幾克到幾十千克，能一次成型外形復雜、尺寸精確、帶有金屬或非金屬嵌件的模塑品。因此，該方法適應性強，生產效率高。

吹塑成型：借氣體壓力使閉合在模具中的熱型坯吹脹成為中空制品，或管型坯無模吹脹成管膜的一種方法。該方法主要用于各種包裝容器和管式膜的制造。

凡是熔體指數為0.04~1.12的都是比較優良的中空吹塑材料，如聚乙烯、聚氯乙烯、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯、熱塑性聚酯、聚碳酸酯、聚酰胺、醋酸纖維素和聚縮醛樹脂等，其中以聚乙烯應用得最多。
(1)注射吹塑成型：系用注射成型法先將塑料制成有底型坯，接著再將型坯移到吹塑模中吹制成中空制品
(2)擠出吹塑成型：系用擠出法先將塑料制成有底型坯，接著再將型坯移到吹塑模中吹制成中空制品。

(3)拉伸吹塑成型：拉伸吹塑成型是雙軸定向拉伸的一種吹塑成型，其方法是先將型還進行縱向拉伸，然后用壓縮空氣進行吹脹達到橫向拉伸。拉伸吹塑成型可使制品的透明性、沖擊強度、表面硬度和剛性有很大的提高，適用于聚丙烯、聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PETP)的吹塑成型。

(4)吹塑薄膜法：成型熱塑性薄膜的一種方法。系用擠出法先將塑料擠成管，而后借助向管內吹入的空氣使其連續膨脹到一定尺寸的管式膜，冷卻后折疊卷繞成雙層平膜
